    Our Planting Design service supplies you with:

    A Planting Plan shows you what plants go where. This is a computer drafted 2D plan based on your site dimensions and an initial discussion outlining your desires for the space.

    The plant selections and positioning will focus on:

    • Site Conditions

      climate, soil, sun/shade exposure, wind exposure, frost risk, water availability

    • Plant Performance

      size at maturity, growth rate, longevity, maintenance requirements, pest and disease susceptibility

    • Design Considerations

      overall garden style and character, functional requirements, seasonal interest, structure, visual balance and interest within the planting combination

    A Plant Schedule listing all of the plants in the Planting Plan.

    It provides you with:

    • Plant names (botanical and common)

    • Plant quantities

    • Pot size/maturity recommendations to purchase

    • Procurement & purchasing guidance

    • References to the Planting Plan

    Plant Reference Images to help you visualise the proposed planting palette.

    Exclusions

    • Written revisions (verbal alterations may be discussed at handover)

  • BASIC

    Basic layout guidance for key built elements helps bring structure to the garden, ensuring the planting design integrates into a cohesive, functional, and visually balanced outdoor space.

    The ‘Built Elements’ are the physical structures and hardscape features that form the framework of the garden. They provide access, define spaces, manage water, support changes in level, and create the foundation within which the planting can thrive.

    Basic features include:

    • Driveways & foot paths

    • Garden edging

    • Raised planters

    • Screening features

    • Letterboxes

    • Seating

    • Fencing

    • Minor retaining

    This service is intended to provide clarity to the space which in turn allows for an effective planting design. It is intended to provide a firm foundation for when you engage a landscaper or direction for someone looking to install these components themselves.

    Exclusions

    • Written revisions (verbal revisions may be discussed at handover). Revisions to documentation can be produced based on complexity at an hourly rate.

    • Product specification. While styling guidance may be provided, specific products or suppliers will not be detailed.

    • Construction detailing. This is a basic conceptual design is not intended to provide technical guidance to contractors on how to build these elements.

    • Non-basic elements include highly customised or technical additions such as significant retaining, pergolas, shade structures, decorative features, water storage features and lighting

    Pricing

    We will provide a tailored quote based on the site, timeframe and volume and level of technicality involved. Prices start from $2,000.

  • Plant sourcing and supply is offered to support the successful realisation of each planting design, with consideration given to quality, suitability, and long-term landscape performance. Access to wholesale nursery networks allows access to quality stock at fair and competitive pricing.

    A plant supply quote will be provided upon the completion of your design.

  • By remaining involved through the implementation phase, greater attention can be given to plant placement, spacing, and overall composition to help the landscape mature as intended over time.

    A dedicated planting installation service is offered, covering soil and garden bed preparation, irrigation systems, and the planting of all plants supplied through the project.

    A quote for planting bed preparation and installation will be provided where requested at the completion of the design process.

    Built elements will require a professional builder or landscaper. We will happily connect you with a capable business that can facilitate your needs.

    This service is only offered in conjunction with plant supply.
