Gardens Grounded in Planting and Place

Having spent many years working within horticulture and agronomy, helping people to grow plants, I had a strong desire to take my career into the discipline of garden design. With my background, you won’t be surprised the learn that I’m a strong believer that plants are the true hero of any garden- capable of shaping atmosphere, shifting emotions and providing positive interactions with people and fauna.

As a 2025 graduate of the London College of Garden Design, Melbourne, I’ve had the pleasure of learning from some Australia and England’s leading designers, allowing me to combine my horticultural knowledge with thoughtful design approaches.

It’s often said that designing small spaces is a much greater challenge than designing large spaces- challenge accepted! The flip side to this truth is that when small spaces are done right, they can feel immersive, transportive and deeply intimate.

Every site presents its own set of conditions, constraints, and opportunities, and the process of working through these to find a coherent outcome is what makes the work compelling. I embark on this journey with the desire to provide gardens that feel unique and genuinely connected to place.
